St Katharine’s has an almost 900 year history of ‘taking care of people’ through “Worship, Hospitality and Service”.
St Katharine’s Precinct provides Worship in our Soul Space for prayer or quiet contemplation; Hospitality at The Yurt Cafe and Service to others via the Community Groups we facilitate.

The Yurt Café is a Social Enterprise run by The Royal Foundation of St Katharine (Charity 223849). We aim to create a space which is engaging, fun and welcoming to people from all walks of life and are guided by an Ethos of taking care of people. We care about how we communicate with and include everyone. We care that our food is nutritional, freshly cooked on site and as allergen and dietary aware as we are able. Note: we do source some of our cakes and pastries from a local baker. We care for our staff, paying London Living Wage and support them as strongly as we can. We care to keep our menu affordable and have price protected items. We care about recycling and being as sustainable as possible.
Our Food
You can enjoy Scrumptious Weekend Brunches; Vegan and Vegetarian dishes every day; Adronicas Coffee, freshly ground and brewed by our Baristas; Cakes and Pastries either homemade or from Local East End Bakery Rinkoffs; soft drinks including freshly squeezed juices and Kombucha; wine, beer and even cocktails.
